The 165 is Hino’s solution for operating in congested city traffic. This truck combines superb maneuverability, excellent visibility and a long list of standard features which ensures driver comfort. Hino’s 4.7 litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine provides smooth and reliable power, developing 175 hp and 376 lb.ft of torque.

The 165 is equipped with standard 5-speed Eaton manual transmission and is also available with a 4-speed Aisin 450-43LE automatic transmission (183” and 201” wheelbases). Trucks equipped with the Aisin automatic transmission also come equipped with standard alloy wheels. Available wheelbases: 147”, 169”, 183” and 201”. Hydraulic disc brakes with ABS are standard equipment.

The Hino 268 is a strong and versatile truck. It offers the same benefits as our 258 LP model, but with a higher frame height and a heavier 10,000 lb front axle. This makes the 268 ideal for applications requiring greater front axle capacity, such as refrigerated bodies, water bottle carriers or heavy freight. The 268 is also available as an air suspension and air brake model. Hino’s 7.6 litre, 220 hp 6-cylinder, turbocharged, diesel engine provides excellent fuel economy, power, throttle response and legendary Hino reliability.

Hino 358 2008 Hino 358 Class 8 (35,000 lbs GVW)

The Hino 358 is a new model for 2008. The 358 shares many of the same components as our 338 model and has been optimized for heavy duty service. The 23,000 lb. rear axle, optional 120,000 psi heavy duty frame with a driver-controlled locking differential make the 358 ideal for delivering heavy loads over unimproved roads where maximum frame strength and traction are required. Recommended applications for the 358 include: building materials delivery, tanker, dump, and refrigerated bodies. The 358 is powered by Hino’s most powerful engine: a 7.6 litre, 6-cylinder, turbocharged diesel that develops 260 hp and 585 lb.ft. of torque. The 358 is available with either a standard 6-speed Eaton 6406A manual transmission or a heavy duty 5-speed Allison 3000 RDS automatic transmission with PTO capability. Available wheelbases: 187”, 205” 253” and 271”
